SANCTUARIES AND SHELTERS
Scruffer Lovers ▶︎
Dog rescue in South Australia dedicated to helping rehome local, friendly pound dogs from several regional and rural councils. Over the past 14 years Scruffer Lovers have been dedicated to local South Australian pound dogs (and sometimes cats) in need and helping them find loving forever homes once de-sexed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Scruffer Lovers are only a small organisation but have helped thousands of dogs, often with the help of other small local rescues.
Guardian Angel Animal Rescue ▶︎
A registered not for profit Australian Charity who’s primary focus is to rescue, rehabilitate, train and rehome companion animals Australia wide. Founded in 2013, Guardian Angel Animal Rescue SA Incorporated (GAAR) is a small rescue in South Australia with a primary focus on offering behavioural services which will ultimately lead to humans and dogs having more harmonious relationships.

WAO are independently funded relying solely on donations and run entirely by volunteers who have dedicated their life to the wombat.
